So how does this work?

To begin, there isn’t a one-size template for this.  Ky develops an employee benefit agreement with each firm that fits their needs.  But generally, there are 3 primary models:

  1. Internal Setup
Acting as an internal coach for your organisation, Ky is contracted to x hours per month, which you can offer and allocate throughout the business as you like. Ky will work within your offices if you like and be contracted as a representative of your business.
  2. External – Fixed Hours
Similar to the above, this set number of hours per month Ky allocates to your staff’s employee benefit. They can be booked through your HR service or directly between the employee and Ky
  3. External – Flexi Hours
Here, clients are working directly with Ky again, though no set number of hours are reserved for your organisation.  In this situation, Ky invoices for the hours your employees use per month.  This option rarely receives the same discounts as options 1 and 2, nor does it guarantee availability for employees/volunteers.

Coaching Services which can Help

Career Coaching

  • Why should a business offer career coaching?

Offering career coaching as an employee benefit can be a great way for businesses to invest in their workforce. Career coaching can help employees to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to reach their career goals. It can also help employees to identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop strategies to overcome any challenges they may face. Additionally, career coaching can help employees to stay motivated and focused on their goals, and it can help to create a more positive work environment. Ultimately, offering career coaching can be a great way for businesses to show their commitment to their employees and help them to reach their full potential.

  • Wont it make people leave?

Quite the opposite – in fact, research by Manpower Group found that 81% want to be invested in.  Helping them choose their future direction means they’re likely to want to move up internally and avoid quiet quitting or job abandonment.

Executive Coaching

  • What’s the Return on Investment?

86% of companies that could calculate their return on investment said that they at least made back their initial investment. 19% indicated an ROI of 50x the investment. 28% saw an ROI of 10-49x the investment. The median ROI is 7x the investment. (2009 ICF Global Coaching Study)

  • How does it affect job satisfaction?

According to a survey of Fortune 500 businesses, coaching increased quality and job satisfaction levels by 48% and 61%, respectively. Coach Foundation. Un unquestionable employee benefit in the firms interest, too.
  • How does it affect sales?

Companies with dynamic sales coaching programs achieve 28% higher win rates.

Money Coaching

  • How is this relevant to work?

Whether it’s a Cost-of-Living crisis, other economic instability, or simple year-on-year inflation, salary and finances are often on the table for discussion.

Whilst across-the-board pay-rises can’t be accommodated as often as we’d like,  helping employees handle finances and do more with what they have can be invaluable. It demonstrates an awareness and offers support without accepting culpability.

  • Why YOUR Money Coaching?

There are a few Money Coaching programmes on the market now. However, unlike a certain marine-life-themed service, this isn’t just dressed-up financial planning that will offer add-on services, create a budget, and walk away until the employee pays more.

Ky’s Money Coaching is focused on the client’s relationship with money and looks at their lifelong habits and influences to address the psychological concerns involved. They’re left with a greater understanding of current trends within their financial lives and don’t have to subscribe to anything.

Leadership Coaching

  • Why is this needed?

Employees are often promoted into the world of leadership by virtue of performance.  Whilst this is a great way to reward hard-working staff, their previous role skills haven’t necessarily prepared them for leadership.  Even when they have some experience, leadership is an ever-evolving skillset that shouldn’t be left. Offering this support, even as an employee benefit, an help them feel more secure in their role and stay committed to the position longer.

  • How does it impact the team?

Leadership coaching can provide insight into how to develop and maintain strong relationships with peers and colleagues, how to motivate and inspire others, and how to effectively manage and lead teams. What’s more, extending this employee benefit to the whole of your SMT can lift the company equally.

Business Coaching

  • Who is this for?

Business Coaching fits well within two primary areas:

    • Franchise functioning businesses – those where satellites are operated, and leaders hold responsibility and autonomy. This often marks another equal company and employee benefit.
    • Sidelines – Airtasker reported in 2022 that 46% of Brits bought in a secondary income through a side-hustle
  • Aren’t side-hustles against our interest?

Quite the opposite.  The percentage of staff who are ever interested and able to leave their main career to pursue a site-hustle full-time is tiny.

Helping provide resources to support employees, especially during economic turmoil, is greatly received. Another example of this employee benefit becoming a vote of trust and confidence in your staff.

Build Your Own

  • What does this mean?

Whatever you want.  Choose how to use coaching as an employee benefit, yourselves. Ky’s expertise is listed through the site, but if you’re looking for wider or more specific coaching, it can still be within reach

There’s an endless list of coaching possibilities in the world, but they always fit somewhere. For example, if you wanted specific coaching on Sales or Workplace Anxiety – they come under the capacity of Executive Coaching and Business Coaching.

However, if you’re looking for Maternity Return Coaching or Personal Relationship Coaching – those are specialities I have colleagues I can subcontract.

At no point do I offer coaching in areas I’m not confident in – it’s of no benefit to myself or the client. Your employees will only receive the best quality coaching we can provide.
